Maple season is right around the corner and that means Maple Open House Weekend is almost here! Every year, sugarmakers across Vermont open their doors to share the magic of sugaring season—and we’re excited to welcome you back to our farm for one of our favorite weekends of the year.
If you’ve never visited our farm before, this is the perfect time. And if you have visited, you know it’s worth coming again—because there’s nothing quite like those free rosemary waffles at Open House!
Experience the Sugarbush in Action
With cold nights and warm days the sap begins to run, and our sugarhouse comes alive. During Open House Weekend, you’ll get an up-close look at how we make our pure organic maple syrup.
Visitors can enjoy:

Tastings of our maple syrup varieties (regular and infused!)

A Family Tradition Rooted in Vermont
Baird Farm has been making maple syrup for four generations, and Maple Open House Weekend is one of our favorite traditions. It’s a chance for us to slow down (at least a little!), share stories, answer questions, and connect with the community that supports Vermont sugarmakers year after year.
We love getting to see families return annually, kids enjoying their first maple syrup, and visitors discovering things they never new about maple sugaring.
